Today, the brand has grown beyond its small beginnings and offers a wide selection of diamond rings and other diamond jewelry to customers in the UK and internationally.
While the company has grown, it stays close to its roots. Unlike many jewelry brands that expand globally, Serendipity Diamonds has kept an exclusive presence with a single showroom in the Isle of Wight, available by appointment only.
What does Serendipity Diamonds sell?
All of the jewelry you’ll find at Serendipity Diamonds would be classified as fine jewelry since the brand makes each piece with precious metal and gemstones.
The focus is clearly on bridal jewelry, like engagement rings and wedding bands, they also sell fine jewelry accessories like diamond earrings or diamond pendants.
Serendipity has some of the most metal choices I’ve ever seen. In addition to white gold, yellow gold, rose gold, and platinum, you can order a ring band of palladium, titanium, and zirconium.
If you’re allergic to nickel or gold, titanium and platinum are two of the best types of hypoallergenic rings, though few jewelers stock them.
While Serendipity offers a wide selection of unique engagement ring, wedding ring, and eternity ring styles, some want to design their own.
For this type of buyer, Serendipity offers a custom ring design. Schedule an appointment at the UK showroom, and a jeweler will meet with you to find the correct ring size, features, and loose diamonds for the piece.
The brand is famous for its bespoke diamond ring customer service.
I wish more third-party review sites mentioned Serendipity Diamonds.
The most obvious site is Feefo, which Serendipity promotes on their website as giving the brand “100% positive reviews.”
That’s true—every one of the Feefo reviews is for five stars. But in my research, I realized that Feefo isn’t a proper third-party site since it appears Serendipity pays to use their software.
Like any smart business, the company only asks for reviews from happy customers. It appears nearly all customers are delighted, but it’s also not as objective as I would like.
Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of other review sites to choose from. The only other place with reviews is TrustPilot, which gives the brand 3.6 stars. But that’s only based on four reviews.
Despite the lack of customer opinions, I was pleased to see that the Serendipity team is very responsive. The team replied to the negative TrustPilot review the same day, which helps build my trust in the brand.
The final word on Serendipity Diamonds
If you’re in the UK and looking for the perfect engagement ring, you’ll be able to find it—or built it—at Serendipity Diamonds.
While it sells plenty of jewelry on the website, most of its sales appear to include visiting the showroom on the Isle of Wight. Depending on your location and budget, that might not be practical.
But if you’re looking for a diamond ring, Serendipity is a solid choice.
